Better Look Out For My Better World
My Better World is one of the largest animated series created entirely in Africa. It is a 55 episode animated life skill-series made by Fundi Films in collaboration with MAAN Creative. The original series follows six African teens as they traverse the challenges of family, friendship and school; each episode is accompanied by a two-minute documentary featuring inspiring African role models.
My Better World Is Making A Difference
The series has already garnered 2 million viewers a week and is playing an important role in the education curriculum in sub-Saharan Africa. It manages to address challenging issues, such as child marriage, whilst remaining entertaining and educational; showing the world that through animation, people can change the world and make a difference.

Calling All Creators! – AWS Teaching Creators How to Control the Cloud
Amazon Web Services is going to be hosting a two day-virtual event on how to leverage the cloud for VFX and animation workflows. It will include a roundtable discussion with Nvidia, as well as five webcasts featuring first hand insights and best practices from Utold Studios, Hive VFX, Cinesite and Tangent Studios.
The event will be held from August 26 to 27 and sessions on topics such as digital content creation, launching creative studios on the cloud and studio essentials, will also be made available for registrants afterwards.
