Meanwhile, the OutReality Lab allows artists and game developers to explore innovative ways of collaborating to create new immersive digital experiences.

The Out Reality Space was opened on 8 February, 2022 and is available to view in Kenya, Nairobi.

GLYCH Into the Future With VX Animation’s New Film

Award-winning Nigerian company, VX Animation have announced the release of a brand new Afro-futuristic film, GLYCH.

Set in the fictional world of Nuuru Galaxy, the film follows the story of a fugitive Princess Kiama who is on the run from Miungu Nyekundu (The Red Gods) and the Galactic Council.

On her quest, Kiama discovers she has has the ability to “glych” and enter a parallel reality, an ability only bestowed upon those with an elite bloodline. Now in hiding, Kiama receives a mysterious message from an unexpected visitor and is forced to confront her destiny.

GLYCH is written, produced and directed by Munyira Douglas and Somto Ajjuluchukwu and showcases talent from Nigeria, Canada, USA and Jamaica.

FTX Are Big About NFTS

After introducing NFT’s to the famous Coachella Festival with their NFT marketplace, Crypto currency exchange company, FTX, are now adding its name to crypto companies that are bringing NFT’s into the gaming space.

NFT’s To Enter the Gaming Space With FTX’s Gaming Division

FTX have announced the launch of a new division, FTX Gaming.

According to president of FTX US, Brett Harrison, the company seeks to take existing game features such as skins, rewards and in-game avatars and enable players to invest, trade and own such items outside of the game.

Despite skepticism around the use of blockchain technology in gaming,  FTX have made it clear that they do not wish to take away from the gaming experience.

They simply desire to create a more exciting way for people to use crypto.
