The Pan African Gaming Group

One problem African game developers and gamers alike face is a lack of resources and economic opportunities. That’s this newly formed Pan-African Gaming Group (PAAG) have set out to change that.

The group is made of up 10 Pan-African gaming studios including, Kiro’o Games, Usiku Games , Messeka Games, Kayfo Games, Digital Mania, Qene Games, Khanga Ru, DopeApps, Leti Arts and Sea Monster. Together the group represents 10 countries within Africa.

Speaking at the Africa Games Week 2022, attended by Comexposed Directors, Eugene Mapondera and Keith Kuhudzai, PAAG expressed their aim to work together “to advocate and share [their] games across markets.” Their games and content will feature African heroes, culture, music and environment and be relevant to African gamers.

PAAG also sets out to utilise the power of games to make a social impact and train the next generation of African game developers.

Journey to Unbuntu Land In The Africarare Metaverse


Launched at the SingularityU South Africa Summit 2021, Africarare is the very first African metaverse.
This 3D virtually reality experience draws people into a virtual Africa to a place known as Unbuntu Land. Once here, users can view the stellar work of African creatives and African artists can utilise it as a platform to showcase their work.

Once in the Metaverse, people can also create their own avatar and use a customized $UBU Coin to buy and trade land or experience games, art exhibitions or social interaction.

Look Out For YouNeek Studios’ Iyanu Vol. 2

In December of 2021, Nigerian company, YouNeek Studios announced the upcoming release of Iyanu Child of Wonder, Vol. 2.

The comic will be released under the YouNeek Studios and Dark Horse partnership that will see the entertainment company releasing new editions of YouNeek Studios published work, together with brand new titles.


Iyanu Child of Wonder follows the story of a teenage orphan who discovers she has abilities that rival those of the ancient deities. Using her new found abilities, Iyanu must saver her world from destruction and help bring back an “age of wonders”.

50 Cent Options DC Comic Xero for Live Action


Rapper, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s film company G-Unit Film & Television have set out to develop the comic “Xerø” into a live action film.


Xerø was originally a short-lived comic published by DC Comics that followed the story Black government assassin who uses his invisibility powers to pass a white man.

The film will follow a similar story and see Black government assassin, Trane Walker, weaponizing his invisibility powers and using them to blend into the Casino Royale haunts of the international elite. The story will explore his moral awakening and the life -and- death challenges it presents.


G-Unit Film & Television will produce the film alongside Color Farm and production and publishing company, Illuminous.
