Cabblow Studios Introduce When It Get’s Risky

Two years ago, Cabblow Studios, released a medical animation video titled Two Teaspoons of Sugar. The short film chronicled the daily life of someone with diabetes whilst educating viewers on the disease.

Now, Cabblow Studios have released yet another animation but this time they will be educating audiences on COVID-19.

The short film, When It’s Risky, educates viewers on the ways in which COVID-19 affects high risk individuals (such as those with diabetes) and the precautions such people should take.

Whilst, When It’s Risky is as an educational film, for Kabelo Maaka and Dr. Tshepo Maaka, the filmmakers of the studio, the film is also a way for them to remember a deceased relative.

In Memory Of Aunt Sue

Kabelo’s aunt, also known as “The Sue” is the star of Cabblow Studios new short film. A diabetic herself, Sue caught the Corona virus and lost her life in early 2021.

By making the film, the mother and daughter duo set out to immortalize Aunt Sue and simultaneously create a video future generations can watch to educate themselves on what happened in 2020.

Free Lives’ New Game Encourages Players to Reclaim the Wastelands

South African game developers, Free Lives will be releasing a brand new game titled Terra Nil – Reclaim the Wasteland.

Made in collaboration with Devolver Digital, Terra Nil encourages people to preserve the environment and essentially, reclaim the wastelands.

Players of the reverse city builder game are tasked with travelling the planet whilst reconstructing and rejuvenating different geographical regions within the game.

Jupiter Invincible An AR Comic Book

Set before the US Civil War on a Southern plantation, Jupiter Invincible is a VR comic that tells a unique story of African American slavery and racial prejudice.

The comic follows the story of an African American slave named Jupiter, who is gifted with immortality and able to aid historical figure, Harriet Tubman with her Underground Railroad mission.
