We Want our Youth Again

A brand new animated short “Us Again” is now playing in theatres alongside Raya and the Last Dragon. Directed by Zach Parrish,  the seven minute film tells a story of regaining your youth and love, against a backdrop of rain, music and dance.

As people get older, they are always looking for ways to relive their youth or go back to them “good o’l days.” But according to Parrish “We can’t focus on the past or we’ll miss the present”, and that’s what “Us Again” is all about.

Us Again

The short film, “Us Again” follows the story of an elderly couple who get a chance to reignite their passion for life and their love for each other, on one wonderful night.

The film features choreography from Keone and Mari, who’ve collaborated with stars like Billie Eilish and Justin Bieber, and an original funk and soul musical score by Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel).

In an exclusive interview with Animation World Network, Parrish talks a bit about making of “Us Again” and the origin of its story. Check out the interview in the link below.

“Us Again” is now in theatres and will be made available to stream on Disney Plus in June.
