You Didn’t Forget About The Asiri…
Back in February, pan-African comic book studio YouNeek Studios announced their first epic fantasy set outside of the YouNeek Universe.
This new title is The Asiri, set in 10 000 BC the story follows the story of an advanced, ancient West African civilization of space explorers knows as the Asiri. Enhanced by a power known as INKRA the Asiri can transform into giant beings with extraordinary powers. However their existence is threatened by the invasion of automaton sentries known as the Ageless.
In late May, the company took to their social media pages with even more exciting news about their upcoming story.
The Asiri Are Arriving Soon
YouNeek Studios has revealed the logo and subtitle for their upcoming title, The Asiri: Trials of the Ascended. They have also posted a tantalizing promise that it’s coming soon. But how soon is soon, we’re yet to know.

Mark Your Calendars For Iyanu Vol. 2
The day draws nearer to the release of the highly anticipated, Iyanu Vol. 2.
The story kicks off from the award-winning graphic novel, Iyanu: Child of Wonder that follows the story of a young girl gifted with extraordinary powers that rival those of the deities in the past, powers that could bring back the age of wonders.
Iyanu Vol. 2 will be released in 13 September 2022, so mark your calendars.

Azani Rises’ AAYE
As the team producing the pan-African CGI film, Azania Rises, are still hard at work, they continue to share progress of their upcoming project. From character designs to animated shorts.
Their latest short shares tantalizing glimpse of a character named AAYE. In the world of Azania, AAYE is the nation’s first full sentient artificial intelligent.

‘Bout Batman Azteca…
DC fans better prepare themselves to see Batman as he’s never been seen before. Streaming platform, HBO Max Latin America have ordered the creation of a film titles Batman Azteca: Choque de Imperios. (Aztec Batman: Rise of the Imperials)
Set in the era of the Aztec Empire, this animated feature film follows the story of Yohualli Coatl who loses his father after he is murdered by Spanish Conquistadors. Followiing the tragedy the young boy begins training with mentor, Acatzin, to create weapons and equipment to help him face of the Spanish invaders, protect the kind’s temple and avenge his father.
The film is set to be produced entirely in Mexico and feature local talent. Juan Meza-León (Harley Quinn), will serve as the film’s director. A release date is yet to be confirmed.
